Seven B

So the other day, we were driving around in our new van :) Annie was watching a movie and she said, "Seven B."
I said, "What Annie?"
"Seven B"
"You mean 'Seven Peaks'? Where we swim in the wave pool?"
"No, Seven B"
"What's Seven B?"
"That lady totally just got in front of us. SEVEN B!"

I wish I could blame this on someone else, but that is all me. I guess I should be glad it wasn't a little more explicit.

We're Married...

This morning Annie was doing my hair. She brushed and fiddled with it for about 10 minutes, while Truman was cruising around us. Then she leaned over and said "Mom, I love you so much!" Then she gave me a big hug and said, "Mom, now we're married!" So cute

Cute kids, spray parks and new hair

I had 2 ingrown toenails cut out. It hurt so bad. In fact, they are still not completely healed. That can't be good.
We found a spray park after going out to dinner one evening. Truman dove right in. Annie took awhile to warm up. It was a nice refreshing end to a hot day.

I got a little ambitious before church one day. The most amazing thing about this awesome braid was the fact that Annie stayed still that long.

My Handsome Big Boy.
Seriously, a tiny seer sucker suit is the cutest thing ever.

Like Mother...

Like Daughter
This is actually a dress I wore when I was little. She looks so cute. I love it.

They love each other so much. And I am here to testify that I truly know there is a thin line between love and hate. They can also go at each other faster than anyone else I know. Truman and Annie tease each other like crazy.

Now you see it,

Now you don't!

My hair was driving me crazy, so I cut it off. I had been thinking about it for awhile and I took the plunge. I was tired of big heavy pony tails with no style. And when I did do it, it looked like everyone else. I love it. It is so fun and easy. And I feel stylish and cute, which is so important. I truly love it!

Family Reunion in Arizona

We went to my family reunion in Arizona this summer. It was so much fun. I was a little apprehensive because I am not much of a camper, to say the least, but I really enjoyed it. That might be cause we stayed in a cabin :)  It was so hot, but it did rain some. The best part was seeing my family. My brother Spencer came from Texas and we were all there except my oldest brother. Annie loved every second of it. I saw her in the morning and night and then at meal times. The rest of the time she was running around with her cousins, having the time of her life. It was great.
This was the first time I was able to see my grandparents grave since they past away. I was far away when they died, so this really meant a lot to me. I miss them so much.

We went to the family ranch and branded cattle our first afternoon. I should say, others branded cattle, I watched. Jed was amazing. He full on wrestled a cow to the ground, got kicked in the head and burned a cow with a hot iron. But he drew the line at castration. He almost passed out after awhile. When I say it was HOT, that is the under statement of the century.

See that landscape.... yup, that's AZ.

The happiest boy around.

If there were one picture to describe Annie's trip, this would be it, pure excitement.

Truman is all boy, through and through. He loves 4-wheelers.

Annie and her BFF, her cousin, Elli. They love playing together.

YES... We have moved to Utah!

I know what you are all thinking. Didn't they move to Utah in May? Yes, yes we did. And this summer has been awesome, hence, no blog posts, but I will catch up, I promise.

So... My wonderful, amazing sister Lindsay and my sweet Dad flew out to Michigan to help us move to Utah. It was so awesome. We couldn't have done it without them. We had a great time showing them around Michigan. We had to say goodbye to our friends in Michigan. We miss them so much. But we are so glad to be here.

We have moved to Orem, UT. Jed now works for Adobe, which he loves. We are just really happy here. And we have money, well... some money anyway. So that is nice. No more student life for us. There is something to be said for that.

Annie is loving it here. She loves seeing her Grammie and Grandma C and cousins. But she does still ask about her Michigan friends a lot. She doesn't understand why we can/t just go to Michigan to have lunch with Meghan or why Brookie can't come over and play. It is always sad when I have to explain it.  Here are some of the highlights from the summer. I will do separate posts on the kids birthdays later. So yet again, another catch up...

New Van... Yeah!

Fun with Grammie

Fun at home

Their idea of safe.

Sleeping Beauty at the Princess Festival.

Harry Potter midnight showing

Annie and her cousins, Addison and Marian

Annie loved the festival, Truman did not.

Annie was hungry and got in the storage room.

Annie was shell-shocked when she got to sit in Cinderella's carriage.

We love Uncle Jeff's 4-wheelers!

Truman found Annie's treasure. Jackpot!
