Gardner Village

Last week was Cindy's birthday. We had a girls day out at Gardner Village. Gardner Village is so awesome in the fall. They have a witches village set up where you can tour a house, learn a dance, make an evil brew and bury an evil toad. Annie was really nervous and scared but she stuck it out. She got a pony ride as a reward. We did some shopping and ate lunch. It was really fun. It was a great way to spend a Saturday, a day with the girls.

Annie is making the most of a frosted donut. She ate the best part, of course.

Pumpkin Patch

Jed and his family took a trip to the pumpkin patch while I had a nice afternoon at home. They had a lot of fun.
Wandering with Grandma C
Annie was in heaven picking out a pumpkin.
Annie is now fully addicted to pony rides. I am so shocked. I thought she would have hated them, but she loves it. Who would have thunk?

She picks the biggest one of course.
As long as Truman is outside, he is good.
The lovely Dave and Mica

They had corn that the kids played in. They had a blast. It actually looks really fun.

Last days of an Indian Summer

Truman playing at Thanksgiving Point. The water was freezing, but he stuck it out.
My little Harry Potter...
...in Buzz Lightyear slippers.
Grandma C and Bapa took Annie and Truman to the puppet show at the Orem Library.
They loved it. They looked so adorable.

This dude loves his slippers.
Driving with Grandpa, holding his football... Such a man!
Speaking of being a man, I came out one day and Truman was sitting next to Jed, holding an X-Box remote.
It was the cutest thing ever. They sat there for quite sometime.

We went to the Squaw Peak look-out for Family Home Evening one night. It was beautiful. We wanted to show Annie and Truman the changing leaves. Annie kept saying, "They are so beautiful".

Annie's new dress-up.
Grammie has these "goofy teeth" that are so funny. Annie loves them.
First, she was..."economically challenged", then she was a pirate.

Annie and Elli are taking a dance class at my house. They are so cute. I will post a video of it next week.
Living up the last days of summer, playing with the sidewalk chalk.
Truman was thirsty, he decided to drink out of the play pool like a puppy. He thought it was hilarious.
I am so proud of this cute hair-do. Annie looked adorable.
I braided a full crown around her head. It was awesome.

Arizona Vacation

At the beginning of October, Annie, Truman and I went with my mom and Mark on a trip to Arizona. We visited my dad and my 2 sisters and their families. It was so much fun. We went shopping, ate, talked, shopped, played games, went to a museum, shopped some more... You get the picture. It was so much fun. I came home with a whole lot of new clothes and a greater appreciation/sympathy for the people who have to put up with 98 degree weather in October. It was so hot. But it was awesome. I want to go again soon. And after 24 hours in the car with a 1 and 3 year old, that is really saying something.

The Arizona Natural History Museum. The kids loved it. They were fascinated/petrified by the dinosaurs.
Mining for gold the old fashioned style, in your diaper.
The boys next to us were so mad that they were in the water. They kept yelling, "You're spreading the gold around. We are trying to get it." So funny.

This was a really fun activity room.

The kids were such good sports on our trip to the mall.
Carousel break at Arizona Mills. Annie was so in love with her older  cousins. I wish we could have brought them home with us. Here is little Brookie with Annie.

This splash pad was extra refreshing for the kids on this burning hot day. Annie daintily got wet, while Truman plowed right through. Girls and boys sure are different.

Annie LOVES Papa and Nanny's house. She is still asking to go back. She talks about feeding the chickens with Papa every time she sees an egg. Those kids had the time of their lives. Annie loved playing a hiding game with the ghosts with Nanny.

Lindsay and Eliza, so beautiful.

Papa's awesome backyard.

I didn't see Annie from the moment we would get up (usually 5:30 to 6 thanks to sleeping in one room and Dad's delightful rooster :) ) until I was forcing her into the car to go somewhere.
Two words.... Pure joy!

It was such an awesome vacation. My family was so hospitable and the kids were in heaven. I love you guys and we miss you so much!
